Karen has been a Bid Manager at Siemens Mobility for 19 years, but she only came out as Transgender in late 2020 at the age of 54. A cryogenic physicist and author, she has a deep understanding and an incisive analytical mind, but this is now tempered by a nurturing spirit and a desire to help her new community. She is currently training to be a counsellor and hopes to specialise in providing integrative therapy to the LGBT+ community. Outside of work ,she enjoys chess, D&D and making bad jokes.
