Dave Brown has worked for Samaritans in the Rail Suicide Prevention programme for the last 5 years, stepping up to lead the programme in early 2025. Prior to this he worked in young persons suicide prevention, as well as within NHS and University counselling services. Alongside this, he has been a Samaritans Listening Volunteer for over a decade.
