Steffi Bednarek is a Climate Psychologist and systems thinker with over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of climate change, complexity, and the human psyche. Drawing on her background in Gestalt and trauma-informed psychotherapy, she supports organisations, governments, and communities in developing psychological resilience and systemic awareness in times of ecological and social disruption.

She is co-editor of Explorations into Climate Psychology, author of Climate, Psychology and Change (2024), and founder of the Centre for Climate Psychology & Change. Steffi is also an Associate of the Climate Psychology Alliance and a “Firekeeper” at the World Ethics Forum.
